FOOD MINISTRY - JHIGH

MEAL PREP + SERVE

A MEMBER OF THIS TEAM WILL:

  • commit to one school year

  • desire to be a welcoming and helpful aspect to the student's experience

  • serve with a glad heart and embrace our belief that every volunteer is KEY to our connection with students

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • help cook, serve, and/or clean up during Sunday night gathering

  • Junior high: scheduling is immediate and runs from Oct-May

  • you will receive a schedule as soon as possible and a reminder email or phone call at the beginning of your assigned week

JHIGH GROUP LEADER

Volunteer support of our high ministry is open to all adults and high school age students.  You might be a parent, grandparent, high school student, or just an interested adult looking to give more and connect with our parish.  Give us a call - we'd love to talk more about the possibilities of how you'd like to pitch in.

A MEMBER OF THIS TEAM WILL:

  • be responsible for leading same gender small group discussions during Sunday night programs

  • listen, encourage, love, and build relationships with students in the 7th and 8th grade

  • continue to actively pursue a whole and healthy personal relationship with Jesus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • prepare for each upcoming night by reading through outlines that are emailed a week in advance

  • serve every Sunday that sessions occur - see our calendar

  • attend:

    • retreat training day (Sept. 30, 8am-2pm)

    • group leader breakfasts (one in the fall, two in the spring, on Saturday morning 8am-10am, dates TBD)
